Vulture is the remote security department of SWL Security. Founded in 2001, SWL Security is an established, award winning, SIA approved contractor with comprehensive experience and understanding of the sector.
It’s because we always strive to be at the forefront of the industry, we saw a need for remote systems way back in 2015 and so Vulture was forged, with the aim of providing affordable and effective security in previously unattainable environments. Since then, we have built Vulture from the ground up, constantly improving and adapting our products in-house. We are always striving to find and create new and efficient security measures, that work against the ever demanding and relentless attack, from the criminal elements within our society.
Our experience within the industry has shaped who we are, we are serious about protecting our clients. We secure your site as if it were our own. We are not, and never will be, just a tick box for your insurance policy. We provide an end-to-end service, better protection and always go the extra mile.
To our knowledge, we are the only remote security providers that can supply an all-round service without using any subcontractors. Everything we do functions under one company; meaning that set-up, maintenance, monitoring, response and removal are all kept in-house. Not only does this streamlined approach lower the costs of our services, because we don’t have to account for multiple profit margins, but it means we can react quicker in the event of an intruder and seamlessly coordinate a response.
Furthermore, our in-house business structure, with on-site engineering and manufacturing facilities, enables us to provide bespoke options tailored to your specific needs. We aren’t bound to the limitations of one product, mass produced in a factory off-site or out of the country. This means we can treat every site, every customer, individually. Assessing your unique requirements and adjusting our equipment as necessary, to offer the best coverage possible.
We’re also on hand should you benefit from any of our other extensive service offerings such as Asset Tracking & Recovery, Lone Worker Devices, and Covert Security.
As a historic security supplier, we will never put our name to something if we are not confident that it can live up to the job and offer sufficient protection. We simply won’t add a site to our Remote Monitoring Centre if we can’t guarantee we can defend it. That’s why our Vultures are only ever fitted with the best camera kit available. If an alarm comes through and there’s a possible security breach on your premises, we can’t expect our RMC controllers to make a judgment call if the detection software isn’t up to scratch, or the cameras they are looking through don’t display in smooth HD.
Many of our competitor’s remote security units boast a long battery life, but they do so at the consequence of effective CCTV equipment. We’ve even been told by other providers our cameras are ‘too good’ and we ‘overspec’ our sites… to us there’s no such thing. To us, that’s like saying the lock on the front door to your family home is ‘too secure’. We will always use the best tech and offer above and beyond protection, all whilst keeping our costs low and very competitive.
Unique to Vulture, we also install additional HD cameras around your site, to ensure robust coverage. Our units can accommodate up to 16 different cameras and devices. All of this is included in our low weekly fee. Unlike our competitors we don’t charge extra for additional cameras used to secure your site. Most other suppliers will require multiple units to see around buildings and obstacles on your site, in turn multiplying their charge rate. Our network of HD cameras all connect back to the same Vulture unit, keeping costs down without ever having to compromise your security.
Our Vulture’s may not be about to win the remote security beauty pageant, however, you can rest assured when it comes down to what counts, they are always at the top of the podium. Robust coverage, advanced detection methods, high-tech cameras, 24/7 HD recording, enhanced intruder interaction, multiple deployable environments, bespoke solutions…. It all adds up to better protection.
We often say to our potential clients that we are large enough to exceed, but small enough to care. Every Vulture customer is unique and important to us, you’re never just a number. We feel that’s our major difference, we really are passionate about security and going the extra mile for our customers.
Bespoke solutions, only using the best surveillance tech, adding multiple cameras, lowering costs and generally ‘overspec-ing’ our sites. As if that wasn’t already enough, there are two more examples we’d like to share with you, which further demonstrate we go further.
The first is our site revisit policy, we don’t charge you to move our equipment. Particularly in the construction sector we find space is always at a premium and the layout often changes. Positions that worked well at the beginning, might get in the way later on. We are commitment to remaining adaptable and approachable throughout the hire period, so are happy to make return visits to alter our equipment as necessary.
Finally, never contented with simply stopping crime in the present, we want to prevent it from happening in the future too. We’ve been in the security game a long time, so we know one of the most effective forms of crime prevention is prosecution. This is why our post incident management far surpasses the efforts of any other security provider, let alone of any other remote security or CCTV provider. After an incident our team will collate pictures and CCTV footage, write statements, create a crime pack, submit evidence and liaise with the police, all on your behalf. In the past we’ve also helped our customers by providing evidence of health and safety incidents and internal security issues such as theft and fraud. For us it’s all part of supplying an end-to end service and providing you with complete peace of mind.
